Simple and safe to use, Saalio® tap water iontophoresis can achieve a significant reduction in underarm perspiration within a few days. Experience has shown that a one-week application with daily intervals is usually sufficient, after which it is possible to switch to a therapy that only serves to maintain the effect (application only approx. 2-3 times per week).

When treating the armpits, the soft silicone electrodes adapt ergonomically so that the affected skin areas are treated uniformly.

By selecting the type of current (pulse current or direct current) as well as the duration of therapy, typical unpleasant irritations of iontophoresis therapy can be counteracted. The therapy can thus be carried out in a gentle manner.

Saalio® armpit electrodes (armpit pads) can only be used together with a Saalio® iontophoresis device.

Instructions for using the "Saalio® set Silicone Electrodes for Armpits with sponge pockets."

• the sponge bag should only be used by one person for hygienic reasons
• carefully clean the skin areas to be treated before applying the sponge electrodes
• also remove ointments, creams and residues of cosmetics
• insert the silicone electrodes completely into the sponge pockets to avoid possible current-related skin damage
• Please completely soak the sponge pockets before starting treatment and do not wring them out afterwards (the sponge pockets must be soaking wet to ensure the flow of current)
• It may be necessary to remoisten the sponge pockets during treatment. To do this, interrupt the therapy to soak the sponge pockets again
• insert the prepared sponge bags into the armpits with the connecting lines facing forward and hold them in place by applying light pressure under the arms
• if you feel an uneven tingling or strong burning sensation, soak the sponge bags again and reduce the therapy current

Tips & Tricks

• avoid as much movement as possible during the treatment, as this can lead to current fluctuations
• to clean the skin areas before use, a microfibre cloth that has been cleaned several times in the washing machine can be very useful
• You can wrap a towel around your chest to protect yourself from leaking water and keep warm
• keep the sponge pockets clean and after each treatment pull the electrodes out of the sponge pockets to dry
